`rate_limited`

HTTP 429 · Too Many Requests

The tenant or principal has exceeded its rate limit.

What it means

Requests are limited per tenant and per API key, and one of those limits has been reached. A provider's own rate limit reaching the gateway is also reported with this code.

What to do

Wait for the time given in the Retry-After header, then retry. If this happens often, ask your operator to review the limits.
