Privacy policy

Tavrik Pty Ltd (ABN 35 700 515 457), trading as Tavrik AI ("Tavrik", "we", "us"), respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our websites at tavrik.ai and docs.tavrik.ai, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What this policy covers

This policy covers our public websites only. It does not cover data processed by the Tavrik product on behalf of a customer. That processing is governed by the agreement between Tavrik and the customer, including any data processing agreement, and the customer's own privacy policy applies to the people whose information it holds.

What we collect

When you contact us. If you use the contact form on tavrik.ai, we collect your name, work email address, organisation, role (if you give it) and your message. The form also records the internet address (IP address) your request came from, which is included with your enquiry and used briefly to limit repeated submissions.

When you browse. Like most websites, our web servers keep standard access logs, which record your IP address, the pages requested, the time of the request and the type of browser. We use these logs to keep the sites running and secure.

What we do not collect. Our websites do not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or third-party scripts. Fonts and all other assets are served from our own servers, so loading a page does not send your information to any other company.

We do not ask for sensitive information, and we ask that you do not include health information or other sensitive information about any person in a message to us.

Why we collect it

We use the information you send us to respond to your enquiry, to discuss whether Tavrik suits your organisation, and to keep a record of that correspondence. We use server logs to operate, secure and troubleshoot our websites. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run our business, such as our website host and email provider, and only so far as they need it to provide that service. Our websites and our email are hosted on servers in Sydney, Australia.

We will also disclose personal information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and related correspondence for as long as we are in discussion with you and for 24 months after our last contact, unless we have an ongoing relationship with your organisation or a legal reason to keep it longer. Server logs are kept for 30 days. After that we delete the information.

How we protect it

Our websites are served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to enquiries and logs is limited to the people at Tavrik who need it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it or delete it. Email us at hello@tavrik.ai and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first at hello@tavrik.ai and we will try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it last changed.
